Not gonna lie, I’m envious right now. Enjoy the start of the season blue. I have a few more weeks. Cheers!

Canvas shop called yesterday and said the cockpit cover is done, bimini's are done and they are finishing up the side curtains. Said they could have it ready to pick up tomorrow if I really needed it, otherwise it would be done Monday or Tuesday. I told them no problem, next week is fine. The problem is I can't go next Saturday and I can't take any days off next week cause I'm in charge this week and next unless the other guy comers back early from vacation. So looks like Monday the 15th will be the earliest I can go get it and will have to take a vacation day. Should only take me about 2 weeks to get it ready to go, weather permitting. Just need to do cleanup, buff and wax, install new shower sump, flush out fresh water tank (has gelled up anti-freeze in it that keeps plugging my filter) maybe replace my A\C thru hull. Mine are all stainless except that one. And remove my props and grease the shaft.

This morning... Incredible day... The no leaves thing is a bit disheartening.... And the lack of green anywhere... .???...

Going in this Thursday. My boat has been in the shop of the guy who stores my boat and does my maintenance. Don’t want to wear out my welcome but it has been nice having the use of his shop (he gives me a key to stay late). Really excited to get my new to me 320DA in the river for her first trip in new waters.

Uncovered today. It was so good to get back to my second home.

Canvas is up, basic dust off and poke around. Looks good.

Splash in 3 weeks. Lots to do.

No pic?...

No. Too cold and then dark when I got the lines set up and plugged in. Hoping to get everything commissioned (freshwater, heads, AC units, etc.) organized for the season this weekend. The weather doesn’t look good but I’ll be there. At the very least I have to get the supplies for the adult beverages aboard and enjoy one or two.

I my slip for the very first time with my new to me 320. Back 11’5” vs. 9’5” was not as bad as I had feared. V Drives saved the day. Super excited for a great boating season, the last 4 have sucked....

Congratulations .... Hope you have a great summer with no wind ...yikes!!... tight :)

Looks like Topsy Turvy?
she served the whole place.. All the tables.... You have to appreciate these seasonal bars/restaurants that pull off good service and food 5 months a year on an island for crying out loud...it has to be just crazy

Really happy for you guys, I did the six month break for far to many years.

This past winter, I didn't....in fact, enjoyed my first Christmas light show parade, which was a hoot. It's funny...even here, the vast majority stop boating after the last big weekend, leaving the entire 29,000 acres to myself and a few other boaters. I now enjoy winters...

Heading back to the barn in December, lake to myself...
