Fantastic 100% freshwater boat with all the right upgrades at what I feel was a fair price for both of us.
By the way, I sea trialed a 2007 Marquis 55LS and backed out as a result of the survey. I also considered a 59’ Marquis which I think is a fantastic boat for the money.
Keith, Glad your experience with the boat is going well.
We really enjoyed the model but have moved back to a sundancer (2008 48 sundancer) as it fits the current needs of my wife and I best.
Once we get it unwrapped from transport last Nov ill get some pics posted.
OP, If you are ok with some of the level changes in the 47 and desire the full beam master and aft galley I believe you will be very happy.

I just put a deposit down on a 47, the survey is next week. I can’t find a 47 DB owners thread on here. With 3 new owners, I think we should start one!

Congrats on your deposit and hope the survey goes well! We are loving the boat! We are very happy with the performance and open layout. We figured out a way to stabilize the crescent table when the bed is down. I'll send some pictures when I get to the boat tomorrow.

I just recently purchased a 2008 47 Sea Ray SB. They installed a new washer/dryer for me and did a quick test. It pumped out the quart of water in the washer. Problem is now we try to run a full load and the pump goes on, but water isn't pumping out. I'm thinking there is a valve somewhere that needs to be opened. Anyone have any ideas?
