Wondering what most have done for communication between the bridge and salon. I was thinking about installing a second station to my ray260 with the passive speaker to make use of the intercom option as well as having a radio handy in the salon.

PO of my boat had 2-small walkie talkies. Maybe used them for this as well as docking???

May need to do this for the short term but would like something that won't be left powered off or misplaced by the kids.

I'm trying to find the studs that secure the enclosure panels to the bridge. I have a few missing and need to replace. Does anyone know where i can purchase?

One more question- what is the best route to run an rca from the port sofa with amps over to entertainment center that houses the tv?

Likely to the area under the bridge steps, down into the bilge, and up the under the entertainement center.

Just my $0.02...

Thanks, hoping that wasn't the case. took a look in the bilge under the entertainment center and it doesn't look like a fun job.

I replaced my cockpit refrigerator last fall. There is a huge wad of wires that go down under the steps into the bilge. From the bilge up into and behind the entertainment center is easy. There may be an easier way to get into the bilge down the backside of the couch. A fish tape will be very handy.

That is the path. Actually easier than you might think. An electrical snake is the best way to pull it through. I like the harbor freight fiber sticks that extend verses the coiled snakes.

Thanks, will be tackling this today.

We have an intercom telephone from the salon to the bridge (works like a charm every time my husband wants a ham sandwich) LOL

That's true ... the PO was not a law abiding citizen! Will definitely correct it with the new name and port :)

Tom, note that the 3" requirement for the port of call is only the case if the boat is registered (where registered in Canada is the same as being "documented" in the US). If it is licensed (which is the similar to being registered in the US...confusing!), the port of call requirements don't apply, however, there are similar requirements on the size of the license letter/numbers on the bow.

Thanks Brian! The boat is registered and I've changed the name and port of call, new name is 'Ohana7 and I've made the port of call Ottawa.

New polycarbonate panels installed today with removable U insets.

Thanks, one of the perks of staying in over the winter. All I have to do now is wait until mid April for them to turn the water on. Hopefully we’ll be up that way mid summer.
