Hello all, Looking for things to look for on a 36 Sedan Bridge as I'm in the market for one. Thanks in advance!! Lance

long time no see! Gas powered ones are really thirsty and slow - like .5 mpg at 18 mph.....'07-'08 have the troublesome e-plex system that is tough to get replacement modules for - '10 and up have a pull out sofa - somewhere along the line an addl platform was added and it grew to '39 - can be retrofitted on older ones - try swimplatforms dot com - the deisel boats seem do do well but are a little ass heavy - a lot of weight without that much loa or beam - good luck and keep us posted!

How ya doing buddy? You have any "GOOD " news to share about the 36? LOL

As a previous owner of a 2007 36 DB I can give you my opinion.
We loved the look (more modern ) fit and finish was standard Sea Ray.
The bridge was a little tight we actually didn’t use the seating other than when underway
The 1/2 hardtop was nice for shade and has an opening hatch.
Seperate head/shower was nice keeps the head clean and dry.
Staterooms where standard but we where always looking for more sleeping room. We purchased a pullout bed but it blocked the entire sliding door. Boat is good for a small or young family.
She handled fine in 2’-3’ seas never had it in more than that.
We added a platform from swim platforms.com and it was a great extension for hanging out and carrying the dinghy it did not effect the handling or performance of the boat.
Economy is the downfall to this boat (gas 8.1’s) she cruised around 20 mph so your not breaking any records and I believe mike is correct .5 gpm.
There was a diesel option
The Eplex system on our boat never really gave us a problem but was always on my mind.
Hope this answers some questions.

Thank you very much Havana Shamrock!! It's only the wife and I so I'm sure it will be big enough coming from a 2001 280 Dancer
