Nevercold finally gave out

I used automotive vinyl tools from Harbor Freight and both sides came out easily. They are Christmas trees. Gives you just enough to carefully get the vitrofrigo down there.

They were screws but the vinyl isn’t glued behind where the screws are.

The Vitrifrigo was easy to get in the cabin. The front mounting flange is removable and I pulled the doors and hinges off too. Could almost throw it down there! Now relocating the TV to the wall behind the head door before putting everything back together and mounting the fridge.

Cabinet is back together, New 32” TV relocated to wall and new Vitrifrigo is in. Still need to build out the void above it and make a door.

Looks good Ken! Did you have to make any modifications to the cabinet the fridge slides in to? Did that stainless flange around the edges of the cabinet come with the new fridge, or did you get it separately someplace else?
BTW: I ultimately opted to stick with a 24” TV above the fridge, but when I was kicking around the idea of moving the TV to another location, my thought for the empty space the move would have created for above the fridge was a much needed removeable liquor/wine holder.
Five sides, open in the front, bottles upright, starboard or lucite holder with holes for bottles on blocks a few inches up from bottom, and secured in place with counter sunk screws in to sides of frame.
Having it removeable would provide access to the outlet and other stuff behind it.
I’ve got a simple removeable holder for wine bottles made of starboard in the first cabinet forward of the fridge where the glomex anp and 110 outlet are located, right above where your coffee maker is.
It’s really just a piece of starboard cut to fit the contour of that cabinet to the left of the door with holes to hold some bottles securely and a couple of little legs on it, but it would be much nicer to have more space and have the bottles visible.
It would also eliminate the need to fabricate a door to match the other cabinets.

The opening was perfect and the stainless flange comes with the Vitrifrigo. I am going to pull it back out and add 3/8” plywood rips to lift it a touch. The old fridge flange left a mark in the Vitricore that I want to cover. The cabinet on top is for my Bose unit and an inverter so other than that it will house a few small items only.

That looks GREAT!!!!

I also like the TV placement. Can you tell me how you mounted it there?

Close mount and a cut-in tv box. Need to stay close to the door as the gap is deeper there.

I pulled the trim piece from the shower hatch to access wires and feed down to the new opening.

WOW!! I did know you could get a TV there. But its a good place for one. What size fits?

Hey Humph ( and everybody else who's replaced a fridge lately)

Following up on your fridge install as my DE461 door latch finally gave up the ghost. Compressor still running , but frosting up where I need to defrost every week-end before refilling. I'm now in the planning process for a fridge replacement.

I'm down to the Vitrofrigo DP2600IXD4-F or the Isotherm Cruise CR 195 INOX. Now that you owned the Vitrofrigo for a while what are your thought and feedback?

Anybody go with the Isotherm? I like the fridge on top and separate compressor/temp control for the freezer section, but not alot of feedback out there.
