Thought people would like to see our answer to getting under low bridges (we have to get under one to get to our home) This works great for us

Very Cool! I must say after looking at these boats with the arch for so long the first picture without the arch it looks real strange for such a large boat - my brain wants me to think its a smaller boat.

Is that all full automated now? will it accommodate any electronics up top in the swing?

I just bought all new electronics and will be installing them in the next few weeks so yes it will accommodate what i need

I like the look without the arch but it is not practical to not have the coverings View attachment 65758 View attachment 65758

My next door neighbor just did the same thing to his 32 sundancer

I couldn't help but think about the current thread on canvas while reading this post. Many of us are too lazy to remove our isenglas repeatedly and have resigned ourselves to just taking the center window out when we cruise. You're removing your entire canvas, poles and all! You have more patience than most, Marc. That's a lot of work to get under the bridge.

I'm not sure how you attached the rams for your arch but you may want to keep an eye on the floor below. On my 99 340 that area of the deck was plywood. Having a folding arch means you don't have the gasket around the arch and rain will go under the joint. And it will likely find a way into the deck at the ram. Caulk/seal the heck out of it now and safe yourself future headaches.

I have seals between the arch and pivot plate. Also the plate has a ridge to stop any water from trickling in.
I do not take down all the poles and canvas i have quick disconnects that i can pop the poles off just in 4 spots and drop things down until until i am under the bridge (takes less than a minute)
