I ended up buying a whole new cover for the windlass. I found one on Ebay that was used. Cost me like 50.00 (ish).
Outside of the obvious like the switch itself or a short, my vessel has a solenoid behind the electric panel in the cockpit port locker. I suspect if it was bad your foot switches wouldn’t work either, but it is an idea....Question regarding the windless mine only works with the foot pedals the switch on the bridge does not work I do not think it is the switch since I by passed it and still did not work does anyone have any thoughts what the problem may be
I don't have the boat anymore, but I believe there was a switch on the console which turned the windlass on.....and then you used the up and down switch to operate the windlass. Double check that switch also.Question regarding the windless mine only works with the foot pedals the switch on the bridge does not work I do not think it is the switch since I by passed it and still did not work does anyone have any thoughts what the problem may be
Well my 2 1/2 year old Dometic AC unit in the salon decided to die. Lost all the freon through a leak in the condenser core.
Looked at buying a MarinAire unit to replace it, but got a better deal on a replacement Dometic through Great Lakes Skipper. The MarinAire only has a 1 year warranty, versus 2 year for the Dometic.
Hopefully the new unit will last longer.
Remind me again: What's the definition of insanity?
Yep.
We have so few choices in AC, it's a "take it or leave it" deal. I had 20+ year old AC units in my Bayliner 4550 that worked flawless. Today's units are throw aways. Expensive throw aways.
Need to replace my tachs. Is this the proper gauge for the cat 3116?

I just pulled mine off during my flooring project. You are welcome to it.Inside table near couch.
Does anyone have a picture of the insert near the Port side couch that a table pole can fit into. Prior owner removed and I would like to add back. Thank you.
That would be fantastic.I just pulled mine off during my flooring project. You are welcome to it.
Bill do you happen to know if the long side of the bridge table is bow/stern or port/starboard?Just came up one page back - post 3426.
