Looking at the Brig Falcon and the Walker Bay 11LTE and both seem like real nice dinghies. Trying to keep LOA as close to 12' 2-4" so I can still walk past it when I stern in a slip with no finger pier.

I am leaning towards the Walker Bay as its a cleaner looking boat without the large shifter and i love the cup holders as we do cruise around in the ding quite a bit.

Anyone have any helpful tips or suggestions?

TimeMachine, funny I looked at both of those boats and was about to pull the trigger on the Walker Bay 11 LTE. Then I made the mistake of doing my taxes prior to purchasing. The thing I like about the Walker Bay boat was the cup holders, built in cooler and integrated gas tankl

I am purchasing a walker bay generation 340 so a bit different boat but I saw the 11LTE at the Boston boat show for the first time and it looked like a really nice set up. If I had seen it before purchasing the Generation 340 it would have been on my short list. Miles at the Walker Bay dealership Maritime Solutions in Portsmouth, RI was very helpful and has been great to work with through the process. Good luck with your purchase.

I have an Avon 340SS (which I believe they begin with the 400 now) that is very close in dimension to what you're looking at, and even with the skeg down on the platform and pushed as far as I can go starboard it would be very difficult to walk around the front of dinghy safely. I doubt I have any pics from the back, but I'll check for you. We bow in as our power hook-ups are all at the end of our slips.

Below are the only pics I could find. First one is from when we were initially setting up the platform & chocks. Second one is shortly after tying up in a transient slip on a trip.
