I'm already getting the itch for 2019

Heading out to the marina next week after Christmas. Just to get a quick fix to hold me over until boat show time. April can not come soon enough!

I went and stood behind the wheel last weekend. The admiral laughed at me when she heard me go Vroom Vroom....

I should go to the building and do that tomorrow.

New upholstery for deck chairs and cooler cushion. Going to put down some "wood look" laminate under the table in galley. Also gonna tackle the head gasket on my port engine early Spring.....uhhhhggg.

Upholstery looks great!

Agreed. Looks great!

Going through withdrawal right now. Our marina building (heated storage) is closed until January 8th!

I went down yesterday and took care of a few odds and ends. It was a beautiful (cold) day and I was tempted, but the engines are currently winterized ...so I held off. Hard to tell in the pictures, but there’s a lot of black streaking happening. Can’t wait to give her a good buff and wax at haul out in March. I’ll probably wash her a few times before then. Might even buff and wax everything above the rub rail later this month.

After winterizing this year I installed underwater swim platform LEDs. After contemplating my use of 4200 on the 3/16 holes, Ill remove them and use epoxy and redrill. Now I just need it to get warmer than 5 degrees....Fahrenheit.

I'm with ya!! If we had snow, I'd be on my Ski-doo, but absent that, I'm dying for spring. I'll see her at the end of this month to drop off my Christmas presents (new grill, switches, gauges etc) Then its wait until April!!

We are going back down to Atlanta Christmas Day. Back on our new to us boat on 12/26. We are going to put the boat on a trailer on 12/27 and move it to the canvas shop. As soon as it is finished we will move the boat to dry storage in WV. Then the wait for March begins.
Update, we got the boat moved to the canvas shop (moving a 11.5 beam 35.6 long boat through southern Atlanta is not for the faint of heat (like me LOL). My canvas guy got the FLU right after Christmas but is back in action. Still hoping the move the boat to Charleston on 01/12.

Our Marina storage facility opened this week after the long Christmas break. Went down yesterday and got the hull washed and port side polished. Starboard side will happen the end of this week!

I made my first attempt to access my boat last weekend. Of course it's the weekend the marina was closed. I felt like a bit of a fool for not calling ahead....rookie move.

So I'll try again this weekend with any luck. A below the rub-rail wash and wax. Good for the shoulders, arms and hands.

Knocking on the door to February...it's going to go faster now! I'm already feeling some pressure to get all of my household duties done. Once boating season starts....it's our every weekend vacation...

This looks fantastic. Did you by chance have your cockpit upholstery updated as well? This type of upgrade is on my list for a future year. Somewhere behind new canvas and new electronics...

Went down to the boat last week. She is in a heated building and my guys have her all rub out and waxed. Plastic sheet dropped to cover her from dust and stuff (birds, spiders, ect) up in the rafters. I can't wait until spring, but will attend the Metro Detroit boat show and drool over all the center console boats there. I would really like to pick one up and use it as a run about.

What day you planning on the boat show? We usually try to hit one of the Saturdays.
