Just put a deposit on a Sealift for my Meridian. Does anyone here have the rolling chock option that can provide me with some pics and or video of them in action? Thoughts on them? Sealift doesn’t seem to really like them.....but they’d work perfect for my particular install.

Thanks!

Hi! Hi have the sea lift system on my 2001 410DA. Added in 2012. I just have the standard v chalks. But the rolling or how I see it sliding aft and forward would be nice to get more space between the boat and dingy. However, I think moving the dingy further aft would create to much stress on the transom.
You'll love the lift and you'll be the talk of the town!

I had a Meridian 411 and have been active on the MYO site for several years and there has always been several threads about the 391’s being stern heavy. I know the 411 couldn’t handle a lot of weight on the swim deck. I can’t help you with your question but I would be check to see how much weight you can carry that far back.

Thanks for the responses guys! On MYO most of the chat is about 341s and 441s being stern heavy. The 441s mostly on the ones with pods. Some 391 Sealift owners have chimed in and said there was barely any performance loss. I plan on re-propping after this project anyway. Steve at Sealift said the same, that a 441 would create problems but that he hasn’t had any complaints from 391 owners.

I’m looking at the rolling chocks as they will accommodate the 3 vessels I plan on carrying without having to get a bigger platform. We have a 10ft mini speed boat, and I’d like to carry a Spark, and a tender. All depending on the days mission. With the different beams involved, the rolling chocks are perfect. In each scenario, I can stow the vessels forward, and then slide aft to get them past the oem swim platform as the lift lowers/arcs away from the boat. They just don’t have any in the shop currently that I can go see in person.
