We have the Beam Central Vacuum in our boat. I can find no parts or owner’s manual. I think maybe it is a model 35? Does it have a filter? What size or model number is the bag?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Mine takes Beam part #110041. It fits all of the on-board models and comes with 3 bags and the filter. $16 on eBay.

I don’t recall exactly but it’s obvious when you unlatch the top of the unit. The filter is just a round disc of foam.

Mines a 35. No filter. Just bags.

For model 35 which is what we have too, there is a round foam filter that sits on top on the fan intake under the lid and the bags lay on their sides inside the round drum.

I will have to figure out how to get “under the lid” to find the filter. I undid the 2-spring clips and removed the very top and there sits the bag. Gotta dig a little deeper to see what else to remove to get to the fan/filter.

Thanks to all!

@bbwhitejr - did you ever find location of the filter?

Mine is a model 34. I just bought bags 3 for $7 shipping included ...the eBay description said they fit my model. These things wouldn’t fit in a 55 gallon drum they are so big...shipping had to have been more then $7 each. It’s not worth my time to return them...so they won. Watch out for these vacuum bag hustlers :)

OK - I just called Beam (they are now owned by a company called "Nuera Air" and located up in Quebec Canada). A very nice "Spécialiste expérience client" named Mandy (she was alzo fluent in English) helped me on the phone.

They don't make the Model 35 any more - but she was able to locate a PDF of the original 8 page owners manual (4 pages in English / 4 pages in French). The manual (which I am attaching here - as it does not appear to be otherwise available online) doesn't mention the other filter (it just calls the bags the filter).

Mystery solved?

HYNESPA: Thanks for the PDF. I had a very poor experience with them right before Christmas so you really made my day

Any recent leads on bags for this thing?

I’ll post this here. The hose plug in failed on my Beam, IOW’s when the hose was plugged in it would not turn on. It would turn on with the switch on the unit.

I took it out, troubleshot and identified the 120vac to 24vdc transformer failed.

Bought this one on eBay, replaced and it works fine.

Also, bought the bags for it on Amazon.
