Show off your dock

Nothing to show off here they do have a pool but in 4 years I’ve never seen it. All we have is a dock box. We go to the boat leave for the day, night, weekend, come back and go home. I have no use for amenties at the marina I’m there to use my boat. Not to mention it’s a PITA to load the boat it’s a long haul from the truck to the boat I hate it. The arrow is our boat

We have a great group of folks on our dock. I'd guess there's about 30 slips in total. Most have build-outs and we spend a great deal of time hanging out there. In Texas I'd hate to not have a covered slip as you, and everything you own, would bake.

Here's our build-out

Winner Winner Winner!

That looks like a great dock to be on!

So you anchor out or travel to other marinas when you stay on the boat? You don't just stay on the water at home?

I really like this thread how is show the diversity of all the regions of the country and the amenities or not marinas have.

Correct 90% of the time we’re rafted/or on a mooring ball or anchored somewhere we use marinas maybe 2x a year for our long trip. We may sit on the boat at our home slip and have a few drinks.

Don't get me wrong, we have a great setup and awesome friends, but I yearn to boat in some of the areas y'all do. But that won't happen now that we have a new granddaughter down the road. There's NO WAY my wife's ever moving to the coast now. Oh well, the little tike's worth it.

Looks like a restaurant! Do you take reservations - what kind of beer do you have on tap?

HaHaHaaa I was thinking the same thing Dean - Suddenly Jeremy will be everybody's best friend

I can’t sublet but I am more than happy to have friends come by and use up the rest of the dock.

The Google Car caught me at me dock this summer. It’s a piece of property with 50’ length of bulkhead and 25’ from the canal to the street. I own it so I have electric, water, a 4’ x 8’ shed to keep my boat junk in, and a smaller Rubbermaid vertical storage shed that I set up to keep a backup fridge in.

A few more shots from a few years ago with my old boat at my dock:
