Portable generator

This already? It's only Dec 5th, what's March going to like?

Good to know that you use your cpap machine on the boat I was wondering if it would last through the night with the inverter running on two 280ah batteries.

In the RV world Honda is the choice. The rest are not worth the savings. At least with an RV you can take your generator 50 feet from the RV and the noise is not there.

In the case of a boat noise is not the main issue it's the danger of being killed by the exhaust and that doesn't matter what brand generator you have.

A cpap machine runs on 120volt, but honestly I would use the house batteries and a inverter to run the machine. I also have a cpap machine but haven't tried it on my boat (have yet to get the boat back in the water and stay overnight on it). A fellow in our Boy Scout Troop uses his car battery and inverter to run his and works fine, sometimes has to get jumpstarted the next morning.
