Boater Christmas Stocking Stuffer Ideas...

I love these microfiber towels.

For those of you that are OCD on cleaning, there are good deals on this website.

I’ve got dozens of high quality microfibers that I use on the cars.
I’m also a long time customer of Autogeek. Get in their email list. They often have some great discount code sales.
The Chemical Guys are another great source for them. Google “Chemical Guys”. They have a big selection of detailing stuff too.

If you have a DIY'er this might come in handy. I just bought one this year but have not used it yet.

I’ve had one for a few years. It was an impulse buy.
Honestly, it’s okay for use with the AC strainer for winterizing or Barnacle Buster cleaning while the boat is still in the water, but there are better ways to go if you’ve got a Groco strainer that threads on. You can either buy a Groco strainer cap with hose barb, or make up your own for under ten bucks with PVC, brass adapters, and an O ring from Home Depot.
Add a washing machine hose (two female hose ends) and any container with a male hose outlet to hold the pink or barnacle buster.
If the boat is out of the water, then the best way I’ve found to winterize an AC system is by pumping in through the discharge.
After using it on my AC with the boat in the water, I personally wouldn’t trust the Seaflush for winterizing my diesel motors or generator. Much easier to just remove the intake hose from a through hull fitting and hold it in a bucket of pink.
Might be okay for gas or smaller motors that don’t suck up pink as quickly, or if your intake hoses are in an almost impossible spot to get off your through hulls.

Great stuff. Use as directed and no smelly heads or waste hoses.
Another tip: Clean out your shower sump, then every once in a while (depending on amount of shower and A/C use) pour a teaspoonful of Noflex down the shower drain. Your sump will stay nice and clean all season.
I use my A/C and showers a lot so I treated the drains about once a week with the Noflex. That, coupled with ditching bar soap and using body wash instead, kept my sumps clean enough that when I opened them to winterize they were as clean as the day I launched for the season.

Going to do that.

Any suggestions on where to buy the Noflex? Went to their website. A bottle was around $19 and shipping was around $12!

I am trying Noflex now. Things learned:

Buy 4 bottles you will need at least that much to try it.

Read the instructions, particularly about start up, maintenance, and storage. They all use different amounts of product.

This is not a "used once and love it" product. It is a long term project to clean and optimize your holding tank.

I just do Amazon

Try Marinesan.com for pricing on Noflex Digestor in quantities of 4 or more.

Our boat show has noflex.

Yes, coming up pretty soon.
I don't think we're going this year, but I bet Doug or Mike would pick you up some.
They usually have it on special.
