I have brightness issues with my smart craft vessel view it still works fine I tried the mobile vessel view it only gives me rpms in one engine but gives me faults on both to up grade to vessel view 703 it is about $2200 I also want to update my Raymarine C80 to axiom 9 RV is it worth it. Has anyone also put railings on there swim platform.

Beautiful boat with the hardtop option. Hopefully some of our more savvy members (all the more reasons to be a member here) can chime in and assist you with your decision. I have a 2003 and I am going to upgrade mine as the budget allows. I have already ordered a radio that has the AIS option. We boat on a river with very busy barge traffic and this is going to be a great addition to our boat.

I have a 2008 40DA and upgraded my MFDs to an e127, and later added an Axiom 12 in the second position. Love the upgrade and highly recommend it. You'll need to get a Mercury Marine NMEA2000 gateway that will allow you to get your engine data on the Axiom. I absolutely love mine.

I highly recommend the axiom MFDs. I added a dual 9-inch set up on my 340 and love it. I also added the quantum radar. Winter projects include adding a smartcraft to nema2k gateway to bring in engine data also.

This is my dual axiom setup. I also recommend the navionics maps over the stock ones. With the dual setup I can run either set on the MFDs since they are networked.
