Calling all 360 DA owners

Does anyone know a source for the Bow Sunpad or know the dimensions? Ours had weak snaps and during a recent bad thunderstorm apparently blew off the boat. Looking to see if there is a source to just buy a replacement or if we need to have one made.

I do not have a sun pad so I cannot help,

I'm not sure where you could source one but I can give you the dimensions of mine; assuming its the same year to year? Mine is two 2" thick foam filled pieces that Velcro together to cover the center deck between the rails. The top piece is 40" x 40" with a curve that runs along the base part of the windshield. The bottom piece is more of a trapezoid. It is 40" wide where it Velcros in the middle but slims down to 35" wide at the base (which ends just above the skylight) and is 38" in length.

Ours has the four snaps that go around the rails, but it could use about 4 more of them (especially at the bottom close to the skylight). It looks pretty funny when it blows up in a head wind.

I always thought if redesigning, it would be nice if it could fold in thirds and fit under the back bench seat. Wish lists....

@maegan thanks so much for those dimensions. The previous owner of our boat warned us the four snaps were not enough to hold the pad down when underway. He had added a bungee cord across the rails at the bottom to hold it down. We didn't think about ours blowing off when in the slip so just left it on the bow after a recent trip. Unfortunately the next day we had a bad thunderstorm and the wind must of blow the pad off because all that was left was the bungee. With those dimensions we can at least price a new pad.

does anyone know how to remove the wood panel that is in front of the AC unit on the master stateroom bed? It's the decorative board made up of a large center cherry-wood panel and then a smaller board on the top and bottom. The goal is to remove this panel to be able to clean and vacuum some of the dust that has accumulated there over the years. Thanks in advance.

I was able to clean a fair amount by just lifting the large access panel under the mattress. On mine (which I believe has a replacement A/C unit installed), the filter faces forward, towards the bow.

I was able to do the same, but that panel behind the from cherry panel has dust that is next to impossible to get with the vacuum or a swiffer dust brush. Was hoping the panel could be easily removed to get the rest of it cleaned...

OK, so I solved my dilemma. We used the swifter duster, the short handle version for dusting blinds or fans. Fit perfectly behind the panel. It was amazing what we got out of there!

Does anyone know a source for Bimini canvas for the 360DA. Hurricane Michael took care of mine. Would have taken me 5 minutes to pull off, but was out of town. Wish the marina had done it, but they were scrambling just to get all the boats out of the water. Thankfully it was not our marina, but the one next door that I am sure you have seen in the Michael coverage with the collapsed boat barn. Had to be an isolated gust or tornado since there is no comparable damage to buildings just a block away. Things could have been much worse so I am Ok with just canvas.

Go Sea Ray! We were allowed to board and inspect our yacht today. Despite being subject to 100mph winds and driving rain directly on the cabin door, not a single drop of water was found in the cabin. Except for our destroyed canvas, and the need for a little cleanup, we have no damage :). We were probably fortunate that we had left the windshield vent open. This gave the wind an escape route without trying to take the windshield off the boat.

Does anyone know the location of the battery solenoids? We took our boat out yesterday for a quick test run after Hurricane Michael. I went to turn on the battery solenoids and only the STBD would come on. PORT and GEN would not come one. Thought it might be dead batteries since the boat has not been plugged into power for two months since the hurricane took out the power pedestal. PORT engine started right up using the emergency switch at the helm. Went for about an hour ride and voltage on the PORT gauge showed 14 so I figured we were charging. Got back the marina and still no joy with the solenoids. Any suggestions?

Also, the light on the blower switch is blinking. I can't find anything in a quick search of the manual that indicates what this means.

Looking for a new hot water heater to replace Attwood EHM 6 SM. Located under the back seat bench in the cabin.
Any ideas what make and model will fit? I believe Attwood was bought out and I can't find the original anywhere.

Mine did the same thing this year and I only had 1 bilge blower working. The side that was not working kept tripping a breaker. Replacing the blower did the trick.

regarding the water heater,
Ordered mine from Defender.com. The model came from Attwood, but is a Whale water heater. Model 8600EW, 6 gal., 120v AC.
Was a 2 man job to take the old out and put the new in. Hardest part was access to everything. Replaced in fall of 2017. Worked great all season this year.
Good luck!

Thanks, I think that is my issue. Since I was not able to get the PORT side battery solenoid the activate I think I have an issue with that battery set being dead. Waiting on the marina to fix the power pedestal at our slip that the hurricane took out so I can plug into shore power and fire up the battery charger.

Marina got me hooked up to shore power via a long extension cord to an unused panel. After two days on battery charger the PORT and GEN solenoids operate normally and the blower light no longer blinks. Appears my problem all along was dead port batteries. I am guessing something got left powered on when the the boat was hauled for the storm. Will keep an eye on them though.

Reviving the 360DA forum. 65 days until launch. How about everyone’s pre-launch spring cleaning routine

Can’t wait. Just got her polished from the water line up. Taught myself to solder so I could replace the 3 indirect lights in the cabin. West has a blue LED that fits perfectly. Next to change the oils and filters and clean the bilge. I am still looking for a bright enough LED to replace the puck lights throughout. Found ones for the coach lights and the larger light over the table.

Oil and filters have been changed. I plan on cleaning bilge pumps and sea strainers next week. I store indoors at Grand Isle. They do not allow corded buffers. I bought a Milwaukee battery buffer with extra batteries. Let the waxing begin.

Any recommendations on led replacement bulbs for the ceiling lights?
