This is our second year participating in our local yacht clubs lighted boat parade.
We're not members, but it's open to everyone.
The wife and I went down today and finished things up.

Nice! You running those lights off an inverter or generator, or are they dc?

Wow, Nice job!! We are going out to watch our local parade on 12/8. Our boat is too small to decorate, so we'll be watching while anchored. :)

Looks great! We do ours every year. It's a blast cruising by the crowd on land. We never win, though.

Yours looks great too ZZ13. Last year was our first time, even though we wanted to participate with our 260. It didn't have a generator and heat, now we have those things.
I don't have any expectations of winning, we just enjoy decorating her up, and giving the people on shore the Christmas cheer.
We put lights up on the house also, and some of the stuff from the boat will be going in the yard after the parade.

Oh great, Greg. Make me jealous because my generator is out of the boat being rebuilt so we won't be able to be in the parade. Sucks.

Be sure to come up to the club on Saturday night after the parade. There's free clam chowder (courtesy of a local restaurant) and some prizes to be given out for the best decorated boats. It's always fun to get together and BS a bit.

Your boat looks great (with or without the lights) so have fun out there. One safety tip: some of the skippers will have had too much Christmas cheer so be careful.

Looks fantastic! We were going to participate this year with one of our local yacht clubs, but got tied up with my work party instead. So bah humbug ..next year. Have fun!!

That is awesome! You all have some great looks. Carver370 has done some impressive decorating in our area and he tops it off with an unreal sound system, (not the boats) that plays the theme music. We did our boat parade for 4th of July as we are all out now.

Our winter light competition is scheduled for next weekend outside of Dallas. Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse two weeks ago and we were seeing 26 degrees in the evening for several days. With my travel schedule I just couldn't chance it and decided to winterize the boat for the year. Slightly bummed to say the least.
