I thought I posted about this earlier this year, but can't find the thread on CSR. I have just pulled this part out off my 1999 40 DA. Someone with a 45 DA had the same piece and provided input on painting it. I know this is a common problem. I found spray paint at Auto Zone for car dashboards and was going to use that. Any reason why that wouldn't work? I don't have access to a body shop paint resource.
Thanks

I would look for someone in your area who could do a “wrap” for you. They last long, they can be waxed and you would not have to remove the dash.

Frank webster has refurbished this piece. Reach out to him.

Thanks to all. Your link to the previous thread was what I was looking for. I tried to search by "dash", but for some reason I did not see the thread. I will post a picture of what I end of doing. Right now, I'm going to spray paint it. Auto Zone has spray paint specifically for the dash (supposed to resist sun fading and cracking).

I found it by clicking your name to your profile page and looking at your posts...

I did mine with rattle can spray paint over the summer. Looks so much better. Easy to do.
