Currently in process of converting my 268 Weekender from Alpha drive to Bravo.

Heard a rumour that the only difference in the gimbal housing/ transom cutout are the addition of two holes in order to hang the Bravo gimbal housing, otherwise everything else is the same.

Is there anyone here who is able to confirm this?

Yes.. The only modification to transom was drilling out the top 2 stud holes. That was going from a pre alpha to bravo 2. Drive coupler, exhaust from elbows back, and shift linkage. The shift cable from helm and steering matched right up. You will want to confirm drive shaft spline is fully seated into coupler as well. Believe there is a couple options there. A couple other things was addition of an engine mounted raw water pump and had to replace the power steering hoses as the bravo used a different cylinder. My assembly was a complete take out so most everything was there.

Thank you for the reply.

The full job includes installing a 7.4 MPI as well so the raw water pump and power steering lines are included.
