A sad day.

The pos that ran the girls over ran into a house about a year ago and fled the scene. The police didn’t find him until the next day so he was only convicted of hit and run. He also caused an accident a couple months ago. That case has yet to go to trial. I’m guessing the guy will spend the rest of his life in prison. My buddy that lost his daughter is taking it so hard. When I think about what him his wife and their youngest daughter are going through. I just hang my head and cry.

These are horrible tragedies......and so preventable if a-holes just wouldn't drink & drive. The boy scout that died by me is the son of my sons guidance counselor at school. Really hit this community hard. I can't really wrap my head around how someone could do these things.

It's been a rough few months for Wisconsin. The girl scouts, and the teenaged girl disappearing from home after her parents were murdered in Barron. In our small towns, we feel insulated from "city type crime" I've had to have new discussions with my teen daughters...

The world is so coarse today compared to when I grew up. Glad good people like you are there to guide at least some of our young people.

I think the problem is the government has made it too easy for people to not have to go to work. So all these young people sit around bored all day get drunk and doped up then go out and cause trouble. If they had to work to support themselves and their kids we wouldn’t have these problems. Just my opinion of course.
