Thank you to all those that served or are serving for our terrific country!

Absolutely. I have many family members that have served.

Thank you for your service. I have two step sons and a step daughter that are Marines.

This is my friends and I standing for the playing of Taps and the National Anthem at the Indianapolis 500. I have a 15' by 25' flag that we hold up. If you've watched the Indy 500 over the years than you have seen me. This year they zoomed in on us for 11 seconds. Every time I hear Taps i get goose bumps and tear up. 300,00 fans and the place is silent during Taps.

It is so cool to feel the respect during Taps. Not many places to feel that now.

Me as well... Korat right at the end of the war Weapons Load Crew Chief- F-105’s & F4E’s.
I loved the F4's. I worked on the avionics (Inertial Nav) and got a ride in the back seat on one to check out an INS system problem we couldn't duplicate on the bench. I worked on those and C130's and rescue choppers.

Being of the intermediate age that missed Vietnam but to old for the Gulf War era, I appreciate all those of you who served, we do all we can to support veterans organizations.

I worked on S-2, T-28, c-131, RH-53D, then I was a aircrewman on CH-53E test and evaluation. Then on the full-scale development of the MV-22 And them I was a part of the design team for CH-53K.

I remember the F-4’s when I joined the Navy. I think my favorite Jett was the A-4.

Mike, what you posted does not surprise me at all. You strike me as the kind of guy who would support Veterans.

Thank you.

A patient of mine started Wounded Warriors in Action in 2007. John (founder) is an amazing man with a love for wounded vets. If you don't already have an organization to which you contribute, I offer this one. Hunting and fishing trips for wounded vets. Since we are all water people, I thought I'd throw it out here.
