I have noticed that my trimtabs retract and stop each at a different points.
The port cylinder ram stays out an inch further than starboard when fully retracted. 11.5" O/L vs 10.5" O/L
My question is, Did Sea ray ever install rams of different lengths? Ie: to lift/trim extra port side weight due to genny location. ( 5.0 kw Westerbeke @ 325LBS) On my boat, Port actuator ram fully extended is 2.5 inch, Starboard is only one inch fully extended.

No, port and stbd rams should be exactly the same. Unless a previous owner or you has altered/changed them. Compare them closely.

Try holding the buttons in "retract" longer - see if the port side continues to retract.

Check your fluid level.

Yes, we have made different stroke actuators for SeaRay. Often when one needs to be replaced it is replaced with a "standard" actuator resulting in what you are experiencing.

Is there any way you can post photos of both sides in the full up and full down positions?

Tom, are you saying you may have originally supplied Sea Ray with TWO DIFFERENT stroke lengths for his boat? Meaning, from the "factory" his boat would have came with different length strokes for port vs stbd?

No, They were originally the same, but most likely someone replaced one of the original custom actuators with a "standard" one.

Phew! You had me going there for a minute! :) Yeah, that was my first thought, as well.
