So the 2019 320 Da. lost its galley in the cabin and the permanent front bed and all the head room in the cabin for a walk way up above and lounge chairs on the forward deck. I mean who doesn't love setting up a bed with the table. So I guess it's a day boat now? Is the bow seats and walk way worth the loses to the cabin down below.Plus the hull has lost a few inches in width fuel and water capacity. I do love the hard top but not crazy about everything they shaved off the old model.Oh well I must not be in the group they are hoping to target with this boat looks like I'll keep my 310 with it's amenities that fit the way I use my boat. Is this the same way everyone in the end of the 80's felt when the trade mark look for so many years was left behind by the early 90's . I guess we are all lucky that for the most part if the owners kept care of them over the years and we still have all the Sea Rays that fit our needs.

What the heck do you expect for 350k? I mean, really....

For several years I've felt like all the boat makers were trying to ease away from boats like we all learned to love.

Now, many of them look like an inner city apartment with all the harsh colors, square corners, windows in the hull, stainless steel everywhere, narrower hulls and less fuel, water and holding tank capacity. To make more room in the forward stateroom, bows, instead of having a nice flare to ward off spray, are wide, pudgy things that can only give a wet ride if, ==GASP==, an owner dared take the boat out of the slip and encounter some waves.

They're building boats for a generation of kids who grew up playing video games instead of doing real sports and who now, want a "showy" boat instead of a practical boat.

$.02 RANT OFF!

We slept a family of 6 in our 320 until we moved up this year. That wouldn't work on this boat!!

To each their own for sure. For the admiral and I, the new 320 design is absolutely perfect for us. We love the idea of more cockpit space with the bow seating, love the single level design without having to climb through or around a windshield, and wouldn't miss the space down below as we only spend an occasional rain delay or weekend in the cabin, and always at a marina. For us, it's the perfect day boat with the option of comfortably staying the weekend.

That said, for the price they're asking, I'm stuck waiting for a much lower point in the depreciation curve, at which point maybe our needs will have changed. There's a lot of nice used boat that can be bought for fractions of the new boat asking prices.

I like the 320OB. Did not realize until now it was a single level to get to bow, that is nice. The fuel capacity is greater than my 07 fuel capacity (220 vs 200), but noticed the inboard version is less, 170. I guess the beds don’t slide together in the back? I do not like the triple outboards, would prefer twin 350s Outboards, preferably Yamaha, and you can leave the joystick out as well. Regardless, price is just too high, have to wait 10 years to get into my price range!

I like it too but really like the 400 SLX OB with triple 350 Mercs. I'll have to wait 60 years to get the depreciation to make it work for me. ;) or hit the lottery.

I am just glad that there are folks out there that this boat appeals to. I had a hard enough time when the 310/330/350 came out in 07. We love the 2002/2008 series on Sundancer’s the best. I guess that is why we are now on number 4. While I like the walk through on the 310 and up for the price I will get used to the walk LOL

I know the feeling well. I bought a 2004 260DA that changed designs in 05 and a 2006 300DA that changed designs in 07. I loved the older designs too! Guess I was always a day late....

I should revise my post, I like the 07 320 I have better than new 320 OB, because of the larger LOA, and beam, and the bed, indoor galley, and extra space downstairs. But I like the 320 OB more because of the larger cockpit seating, easier access to the bow, and the outboards. If they were both the same age, and both the same price, or close, it would be a tough call. I’m extremely fond of the 370 Venture, maybe in 3-4 years I’ll go that route. Wouldn’t mind a catamaran powered by outboards either.
