My current LA's are from spring '14. I'm intrigued by this, but I'd hate to buy batteries in the beginning of the storage season.

I wonder is this is a short-term opportunity, or the beginning of a pricing trend?

I just replaced all 4 batteries last month. I knew 2 of them were getting weak and did not want to take the chance of having batteries freeze in the bilge and the resulting mess it would cause. I also like to go onboard once a month and crank the engines a revolution or two to keep the sea water pump impeller in good condition and also have the valve train move around to avoid the chance of a stuck intake or exhaust valve.
 
Hi - I need to replace the batteries in my 2011 350 Sundancer; are the Sam's Group 31 AGMs a good choice?
