This is why I like fall boating. The weather on LKN yesterday was crystal clear, 70deg and a light wind. No sweating to death, didn't need the bimini up, didn't feel like I needed to get the water to cool off every 15min, just nice! To top off the weather there was a group of boats racing around (I don't know if it was a sanctioned thing or not) but about twenty of them. Not sure what they are called, but around 20ft inboards, driver sitting the rear, fiberglass boats running betwen 50-60mph. Posted a picture, but I could not get close, so it's not too good. Every year there seems to be one or two days that stand out -- yesterday was this years day.

I miss LKN. Used to have my smaller Sea Ray at Holiday off exit 28 15 years ago. Man did we have a good/crazy time. Sigh....

Same here on Lanier yesterday! First day since sometime in May, it was less than 90* and super low humidity. It was a fun day!
