Sold our 18’ runabout with our cottage on the French River 3 years ago.
Big mistake, the boat that is.
Anyways, we still go to a private camp on the French River and always planned on renting a aluminum fishing boat from the local marinia.
Never rented one and always got rides with friends.
We had enough of that and just purchased a 1990 20’ BR with a 4.3 Mercruiser.
Purchased it from a retired doctor who owned it since new.
It has been kept on a covered hoist and honestly it is like new.
Runs great, no tears and upholstery not faded at all.
Top never used and just had to resew the zippers as the threads were rotting.
It is in storage now but will post more pictures next spring.
In the past we have owned a 20’ Cruisers Inc and a 1979 300 Sea Ray Sedan Bridge along with the above mentioned outboard.
Always impressed with Sea Ray quality.
Will install a Humminbird Helix 5 GPS/Sonar next spring.
Great to have a boat again.

Welcome aboard... And congratulations

Beautiful boating area your in....

Wow! Boat looks fantastic, love seeing the slightly older boats kept in such good condition.

Welcome.. she looks great

Nice classic we do seem to have all the luck up here with low hour well kept boats available for reasonable dollars . Welcome . We are in South Georgian bay in penetanguishene. Last winter we bought an 89 268 with s 7.4 bravo 1 drive . Do far this fear we got about 50 hrs on top of the original 700 . I am amazed that we have had such good fortune on a 30 year old boat with 0 issues so far . I took care of some minor deferred maintenance items in spring specifically all the cooling hoses .raw water pump impeller and exhaust tubes plus shutter valves for peace if mind and had a nice trouble free year. With our youngest just turning 2 a few weeks ago and the bigger one about to turn 5 we did mostly day boating and a few single over night stays this year . Next year I'm hoping to make a trip up to killarney. And I'd love to check out the French too ! Maybe we will see you around. Again welcome and happy boating come spring
