Official 1980's Weekender/Sundancer 300 thread

Can anyone tell me where, and the size of the window channel seals. Mine are leaking. It looks to be a U shaped rubber

There was a thread in this forum long ago. I copy and pasted it. I will try to find it.

Folks, I've got a question for us Classic owners. I've found a 34 with Vdrives 1989. Genset, FWC 454's. I knew her previous owner, he didn't fix a issue, he replaced the issue. The Genset is 5 years old, one engine is 6years old.

Is 4' worth the move up? The late 80's are very well built boats.

I've completely redone all of my electronics and sound system, just completing those projects. I'm not sure I'd like to start all that again

I know what the boat sold for 5 years ago, and what they are asking is within range unless they have blown something up.

Opinions please

I have a stupid question. I assume our dinettes lay down into a bed. I have never seen a photo of it set up as a bed. If it does set up as a bed I assume there are extra cushions somewhere. Can anyone advise if it does go down into a bed and provide a pic if it does? Thanks!!

wCaptainscall, yes, the dinette lays down and there should be 3 cushions. Two long ones that go across the table and there is a little short one that fills the gap on the rear dinette seat the pulls out about 12 to 18 inches. the little cushion fills the hole on the end under the window.

Somebody had posted a question about a product that they thought might be to good to be true. It was a two part apoxey that worked really well for one of the members. I searched high and low tonight for the posting.

Can any one help me to remember the product? It was for core rotting and soft spots

Was it the Injectadeck product?
If so, I posted in that thread. It was in the general discussion forum.
Was this it? My post is #12http://clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/anyone-ever-use-injectadeck.78478/

I know it was the product you used. That same area on mine is kinda soft.

Seal your windshield screws, that's where mine let in tbe water. The injectadeck really worked well. I was skeptical but it made a believer out of me.

I plan on sealing the screws and then replacing the window glazing. Once all that is done I'm going to have to make the repair.

I have a question, I've ordered the side window flocking and new screw cover rubber. Can I remove the outside frame of the window and how?
