Hello. It's time for new batteries. Looking for good quality Group 31 AGM's. Any input or recomendations would be appreciated! I need 4.

Sam's club made by Deka on both my engines and bow thruster.
5 full seasons and I expect a few more.

I replaced two 8yr old Sears Group 31 with the same this year. They were weak after 6 hours on the hook, but were still able to crank the engine over. I have two more on the other bank that I plan to replace in the spring.

They appear to be some type of seals at the top of each cell.
I looked at my batteries and they are flush with the top.

Sams here as well. Best deal I could find on AGMs.

Sam’s, and I bought the Duracell’s for around 175$, AGMs, group 31, can’t beat that price. So far so good.

Called the Sam's near me and they were out of stock and not sure when they would get them in. Now I'm not sure if my battery charger would be appropriate for AGM's. It's an older Intellipower charger meant for flooded batteries.

I have the same Intellipower 40 amp charger as you.
No problem with the Sam's club group 31 AGM batteries .

Why do there appear to be caps in the top of an AGM battery?

MM
Some Manufactures use the old style case to produce AGM type batteries. Since all the acid is suspended within the cell and there is no reason to access the cell, they are sealed. Chuck
