I'm not sure what you mean by landlocked. We're about 325 miles up the Columbia River from the Pacific Ocean. Is that landlocked?

I keep the boat on Lake Erie and I feel land locked... We have a house on a 7 mile resevoir where we kept a Sundeck ....now that for sure was land locked.... But end of the day both are about the same... I could trailer out of the resevoir and I can boat out of Erie..

Smith mountain lake is a 550 miles shore line . Beautiful lake in the mountains. .just seeing how many sea ray owners are on sml

Well we boat on the Ohio river and feel landlocked. We have about 15 miles in our pool (between locks) so feel sort of restricted to that. We have never went through the locks yet mainly because we have had no reason but if we had a bigger boat, bigger bank account, etc., we could go all the way to the Mississippi then to either the Gulf or the Great Lakes so while we are technically landlocked we really aren't.

We used to boat at SML and moved our boat to the coast about 10 years ago. If you are going to be land locked, SML is the place to do it. We were at Smith Mountain Yacht Club, and there were tons of Sea Rays there. We love the coast because we can go almost anywhere. Where do you keep your boat. There are 2 boaters on the lake that are members here.

I have had a boat on LKN for almost 20yrs and there are still areas of the lake I have never been on. It's my way to get away from the world for a few hours - sometimes accross the cove 5min from the marina, sometimes an hour away to another part of the lake. For me it's not the destination or how far I can go, just like being out on the water, sometimes alone, sometimes rafted up with friends. I enjoy the feeling of no clock, nowhere to be, nowhere to go!

Bayside marina.

I am another 'land locked' boater on Lake Norman, NC.....nice and big inland lake.....several restaurants on the water and large enough to 'cocktail cruise' for a couple hours from end to end.....several nice marinas as well....some covered slips.....

I used to be Landlocked on Lake Norman. And hope to be landlocked there again.

Land locked for 5 months out of the year at Summersville Lake... love it!

Well I guess technically I am land locked on Lake Michigan. But sure doesn’t seem land locked once I get out there.

mostly Oneida Lake, NY specs:
The lake is about 21 miles (34 km) long and about 5 miles (8.0 km) wide with an average depth of 22 feet (6.7 m). The shoreline is about 55 miles (89 km).

though I could lock to Lake Ontario, and from there up the St. Lawrence seaway.

From your slip you can go around the world. (As can we). Definitely not land locked.
