MarinAire Air Conditioner Units? Any one install this brand?

Had one in my old boat for 4 years with no issues. Good customer service.

Been running a 16K one in my salon for the past year. Runs great and is really cold.

Probably will add another one to the rear cabin when the back cruisair dies

I believe my 1993 SR had Marine Air. That was the best A/C we have ever had on a boat. Put out loads of cold air. Compressor location under the berth was not great due to noise, but the unit was trouble free.

Be WARNED. Marine Air is not the same company as the OP unit, he is showing Marin air. They dropped the "e" from marine, and is not the same trusted company that was part of cruiseair.

We just replaced our forward unit with a Webasto from West Marine. It is by far the best unit we have ever had. I cant tell when the compressor is running or not. I installed it on a 95 plus degree day. After install it took about 30-40 minutes to drop the temp to the set point of 72

Good catch. Missed that altogether. Thanks for the correction.

I installed a 16k btu marin air unit about a 13 months ago and it has been great in 95+ degree Atlanta heat. The remote is awesome and fan only mode circulates air well. Two things to watch out for, the plenum (i think that is the word) for the old unit has a square opening. This is the box that connects the unit to the air ducts and this one is round so I had to create one. Other than that it was easy. Really good support, I called to double check the wiring and they were super helpful. Biggest problem was finding some of the cherry veneer to cover up the oversized cutout from the old controls. Let me know if you have any questions and I can take some pictures for you.
