I replaced my interior lights to LED lights. Not sure which I bought, but they are too dim. What are people suggesting for adequate lighting. Not looking to sun tan down there, LOL, but need better lighting. The year is 2006.
Thanks,
Mark

I've used these on two boats now. They are on-par with the OEM original bulbs I replaced in terms of brightness. Definitely not dimmer. On my prior boat I went with a cool white which did appear "brighter" though I think it was just the color temp difference. I went with warm white on my 400 but may eventually switch to cool white. It's an open and ongoing debate between the admiral and I...:)

Go to superbrightleds.com and your can pick how many led's are in the bulb, how many lumans the bulb puts out and what color light ie; cool, warm, daylight, red, blue and other colors in any socket you need. Buy one to see how it works then if u like it order the rest. They also have a 100% money back guaranty. Changed all my lights in my 290DA except anchor lights as they don't have the right bulbs.

I have changed the bulbs on my boat 3 times. I finally gave up and purchased lumitec mirage fixtures and they are awesome. Literally 5 boats on my dock are using them now instead of messing with 300 different lights from 1100 different Chinese sources. More power to you if you want to save a few bucks but the lumitec lights are awesome and to date we have zero failures with 85+ lights.

Same boat as yourself and used these globes in warm white. Excellent globes with no failures or fires and nice light rendering.

I did look at replacing the fixtures but preferred the style and sturdiness of the originals compared to the plastic/polycarbonate stuff out there.
