Azimut captain tried to enter channel on wrong side of jetty

I would say its a total loss.

Could it actually be repaired if someone had the money/time/skill, or is there so much wrong with it that isn't practical to fix even a "free" labor perspective, or there's some risk of broken structure you can't see?

I know I saw a hose in one of the portholes, I'm guessing the interior is flooded and totally shot.

She Is split down the keel at least five feet. When she was in the surf on the beach you could see the hull folding up ever so slightly when the surf hit her. They also pulled the port side away from the upper deck when they used a front end loader in a failed attempt to right her. Even if you could ever trust the hull integrity after the attempted repair, you still have two engines that at this point will most likely need to be replaced. That boat is a 2006 bought I. 2009 I'm pretty sure. You can find them for sale at a reasonable price. That thing is a total unfortunately.

So sad to see.....that is a nice boat. Looks like a $750-800k claim plus the recovery. I doubt you could salvage more than $50k from her if her engines got water in them.
