So I boat out of Ditto Landing on the Tennessee river. A black top, 460 crashed into a rock cliff on the side of the river supposedly. I have grown up on the water, and for the life of me I can’t figure out how this happened. Hitting a channel marker, or even a bridge pilon is one thing that should never happen. But at least they are in the middle of the river. This cliff is the side of the river meaning they just ran into the bank... anyway beautiful boat to crash up. Will try and post pics.

Anyone know the boat? Hope the owners are ok.

I guess the answer is... Now?

Oh crap.

If you happen to hear the entire story...... or if the Captain of that vessel is on CSR and would like to share what lead up to the event.

It would be interesting to hear.

Auto pilot maybe? I have known of a couple boat crashes on Lake Erie that have been caused by the captain setting the auto pilot and then not paying attention.
Whatever the cause , I hope everyone is ok. The boat can be fixed/replaced.
