the Captain chair on my 2015 370 dancer is very loose and needs to be tightened. I talked to someone at MarineMax and they said it would take about 5 hours. I’ll do it myself but before I get started does anyone have any tips or tricks? Thanks!

Might be as simple as a few loose fasteners, or complicated as in fastener have stripped away from the mounting platform....

I just repaired mine.
6 hex style bolts hold the seat to the mounting pan. Pull those and the entire seat can be pulled. Lay seat flat. There are 4 machine screws that hold the center post to the center mount. Mine were sheared off. I had to drill them and easy out. Once replaced I remounted. Had I known the looseness of the seat would eventually end in complete seat failure I may have tightened before complete failure.,. ,my mistake

OR--- if its similar to mine it can be the lower mounting that is loose, where the post mounts to the deck, in where mine is thrubolted to the floor. I had to remove the headliner in the aft cabin to gain access to the nuts underneath.
