Just got out new to us 2013 SunDeck and the outdrive needs new zinc. Was able to change them all except for one of the two pancake like discs over the prop because the bolt head is gone. Prop is in the way to get any kind of good access to drill. What advice do you have?

The bolt isn't gone. The bolt is accessed from the top. Look above the anode, in the raised area of the anti-ventilation plate and you'll see a removable, rubber plug.

FYI, you may want to use Al, not Zn. Al would have been on there from the factory. But it's best to check with other people with similar setups in YOUR specific area and see what works best.

OMG! Feeling stupid, but happy. Thank you so much!! I was baffled, couldn't believe a bolt could snap off. I went out in the dark and rain with a light just to check and there it is - the plug and bolt below!!

On Bravo 3s in salt i have aleays used aluminium. You would also want to make sure you're mercathode is up to spec also. The Bravo 3 housing is aluminium and in salt water is at high risk for galvanic corrosion due to all the stainless steel nearby. You should also make sure it is well painted with proper paint and that the bottom paint is at least 1.5 inches away all around.

You're welcome. Hey, it happens to all of us!

Thank you Kevin. We're in brackish water, no bottom paint. So now that Ive installed the zinc (my boat surveyor said either alum or zinc is fine), are there any issues with proper operation of the MerCathode. My surveyor didn't mention or document anything about the condition of the MerCathode.
