Morning all.

Came across this site a couple of weeks ago after a string of deals that lead to acquiring a 1987 Sorrento 23 BR.

She needs some TLC but previous owner had paperwork for new floor and a re-power in 2016. My first personal boat. Grew up with a 1979 Galaxy 19' BR.

Can't wait to get this out on the water. Much more storage and a bigger hull then what I'm used to!

We have several smaller inland lakes with in 10-45 mins but we'll really enjoy taking her up to Lake Erie and cruising between Vermillion, Huron, Sandusky and out to the islands.

Looking forward to learning a lot more about this 350 Mercruiser. I'm used to the VP AQ120

Yea the kids can't wait. 5 year old daughter insisted on helping clean. Which led to the 3 yr old boy splashing water all over the bow! Joys of having a boat in your driveway!
 
Give Lake Shenango on the Pennsylvania Ohio border a look when I had a trailer boat I spent plenty of time there only an 1 1/2 away from you great lake for tubing and skiing.Kennedy State park on the Ohio River in Newell W Va.

Thanks for the tip. We’ll have to try that out sometime. That’s about the same amount of time it takes us to get up to Vermilion
 
Dont forget you have the air show in Cleveland Labor Day weekend.
Nothing quite like seeing that from the water.

Guess I better figure how to get this engine up and running! I’ll have to start searching for tips and tricks to dewinterize
