I'm looking to upgrade all cabin lights and navigation lights to LED's on my 215WE. Is there a chart anywhere which will tell me the best LED replacements for each bulb?

Thanks.

I replaced all of my bulbs with cheap philips led’s from the local hardware store. Problem was. Led’s are polarity sensitive and I had to reverse the polarity on most of my light fixtures.

Thank you. Is there a way to find out which LED part number/model number to buy?

I pretty much buy all of my LED lamps from Marinebeam or DoctorLED. Their lamps cost a bit more but their quality is much better. Their lamps are dimmable and non-polarity sensitive; this also means the lamps have circuitry that conditions the electrical supply which is important on a boat. There were some reports about the cheap imported lamps (ebay and amazon) overheating and becoming a fire hazard but I've no experience there. Replacing your Nav. lamps is a different story; there are visibility requirements that must be considered; work with a reputable company that lists the lamp as a USCG navigation replacement.

+2 on Marine Beam. Orignally replaced all the bulbs with cheap Chinese LED's from Amazon, then 2 months later went to Marine Beam when they all failed. The Chinese company did refund my money, but what a pain.

One thing I've noticed is that in the fixtures containing both the AC and the DC bulbs, LEDs will over-heat and shut down.
