My ac has been shutting off at the thermostat. Doesn’t trip the breaker and there’s a good stream of water flowing. I cleaned the filter. When it goes “out”, all that’s displayed is the temperature.
Anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks

Is it getting enough power from the dock?

By “shutting off at the thermostat” do you mean the SMX control panel?
Is it just shutting off the unit with no codes?
If so, I saw that happen to one of my units last year and it turned out to be the SMX control panel itself.
But since I have two AC units on my boat I was able to diagnose and verify it by swapping the control panels.
The control panels are expensive but they have a pretty flimsy little curcuit board in them that can fail. Mine did. But I wouldn’t buy one unless I knew for sure I needed it.
Now that I saw how flimsy they are I try to use the remote control I have instead of pushing on the buttons on the panel.
I don’t know if this is your problem, but before calling in a technician maybe you can try to eliminate it as a possible cause.
First try a factory reset of the panel, if that doesn’t fix it maybe someone will loan you their panel to test your system.

Yes, it’s the SMX control panel I’m talking about. I’m kind of leaning towards this being the problem. There are no codes. Going to the boat today to do a reset.
Thanks!

Great! Hope that the reset works out for you. If not, and you don’t have two units on your boat, try to find someone that will let you temporarily swap their controller before you buy another one. They aren’t cheap.
