This afternoon we took out the boat on a long river cruise through the Chicago River, about 2.5 hours of cruising at 600 - 700 RPM. After we got back out through the locks and started to increase RPM and level off at about 2050RPM (about 70% Load) the starboard engine threw a fault code of "Injection Actuation Pressure Fault, Reduce Power Now". We backed out of the throttle and shut the engines down. After about 10 minutes we started the engines again and let her idle after about 10 min we started to increase RPM, after we got above 70% load the starboard threw the same code. We shut them down and did the same thing as before. after restarting the second time i decided to bing her back under low power to the marina. after about 20 min and no codes i brought her back to 70 - 80% load and about 2000 - 2150 RPM for about 20 min back to the marina with no more codes thrown.
Looking for any advice or thoughts. Was this a result of the low idle cruising? it didnt happen to the port engine, so my guess is no?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
Mike
