Lake Saint Clair Peeps

Hello Cd, If I was going to pick a marina to stay at for a weekend getaway it would probably be MacRay Harbor. If you want to explore the lake and go to the different bays during the day you could always just stay at Metro Beach park also. It's a good neutral spot where you would only be 7 to 10 miles or less from the hot spots. Fisher Bay, Goose Bay, Little Moot, Strawberry Island, Gull Island and more. If you do come up let us know and maybe it will work out where some of us might be able to show you around. MacRay IMO is the nicest marina on the lake. It has all the amenities and a restaurant right on site. There are a lot of marinas to stay at though. Belle Maer, Beacon Cove (homeport for me), Algonac Harbor Club (kinda away from everything), Jefferson Beach all have transient slips.

Thank you Joe. I appreciate the recommendations. I'll give you a shout out when heading up your way.

Thanks Ez.
It is really nice to have a place like this where people are willing to share and help each other.

Heading to metro tomorrow for the weekend
Hello Brent, I went through Metro Saturday and I think I saw that 480 of yours. I think almost every slip was taken in there. Was that all your group? It was about 10 p.m. when we finally cruised through. It was just to nice Saturday to leave Fisher Bay. Oh well, I'm sure I'll see you Saturday or Sunday down at Milliken's. I believe the "Rock On" told me we were going to head that way around 11:30 a.m. or so.

Hey Joe,
No, our group had about 12 boats, kind of scattered around the South Marina. Our boat club (that no longer is around), used to go to Metro every year, and we are trying to keep it a bit of a tradition and refer to it as a reunion now.
Looking forward to seeing you down at Milliken, I think our plan is to head out of our marina (Bouvier Bridge) around 10am, need to pop into the Clinton River for fuel and a pump out. We should hit Milliken around 1pm. It is hard to determine, if the weather is good and the lake is nice, we typically like to slow it down a bit and enjoy the ride.
Should be fun this weekend down there!!!!!

Anyone going to Lexington this weekend for the art fair and concerts? I'll be at slip 62. Stop by.
Lexington Harbor is full but sets aside some slips for non-reserved. We decided to go to St. Clair instead and will keep Lexington for another weekend. Have fun, the Arts Fair is always a big event in town.

So what's the name of the Bay just to the East of the Baltimore Hwy?

Been hanging out there the last few weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Hello again Brent, it was nice meeting you this past weekend. Hope you had smooth waters on your way to your Erie destinations. Looking forward to meeting up again, hopefully Metro on Oct. 6th. You have a dang nice boat. I took a shot of you pulling out Sunday morning.

Lexington had 20 un-reserved slips open on a first come basis. We had a great time. Lots of friendly people!
We spent the weekend at St. Clair. Very busy there and the marina had a Mardi Gras party with a band on Saturday evening. (We reserved Lexington for upcoming Labor Day weekend.)
