Bought this 2003 Sea Ray 182 SRX this weekend and got it out on the lake the next day!!! Love it love it love it! And what's more, the wife loves it! She had been hoping for a pontoon boat... large for lots of friends, slow and easy. Then she got behind the wheel of the Sea Ray, took her time, cruised around the lake and proclaimed her utter satisfaction that we went this route instead of a pontoon! Whoohoo yeah! Here's a pic:

Congratulations and welcome to CSR!

great job with the sway..lol

welcome! enjoy the weekend, take pics and share!

Welcome - nice looking boat. Never been much of a pontoon man myself always thought they look like party decks.

Welcome to CSR! Had almost the same boat myself for a few years. Loved it too!

Welcome to CSR. You need to know that one of the main rules of this forum is that we all like to see photos of the boat, the people using the boat and the waters you boat on.

Speaking of which, where are you located? You didn't put that info in your profile so we have no idea where you do your boating.

You will quickly realize that if the Admiral is happy, all are happy and life is good.

Great choice - beats a beer can sled any day (IMHO).

Welcome aboard

We're in Memphis now. So if we just want to get in the water without driving far, Horseshoe Lake (which used to be connected to the Miss. River decades ago) is very close by. For more clear and calm water ideal for skiing, there's Greer's Ferry Lake, Pinoak Lake, and several others within 2 - 3 hours. But we've bought a retirement home in northern NY state on Lake Bonaparte.... that's the ultimate destination.

Welcome to the group! Love the boat as well as the color!

Welcome aboard and boat looks great. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the trans. in that Escape is eventually going to need a party pack. Sooner rather than later if you continue to tow with it.

Nice, love the paint scheme. Got one just like it paint scheme and all but a 03 185 .wellmade ,easy to maintain and pull
Enjoy

Wife wanted a pontoon too for friends and hanging on the bay. 1 ride in a 290 Sundance and she said what pontoon. Never to speak of the party barge again. Congrats

Nice boat, enjoy it.

I wrinkle my nose at pontoon boats. I’m surrounded by them around here.

I don’t think they qualify as boats, but rafts...rafts that some people pay a hundred grand for.

Good choice.
