Alright, here is what went down yesterday and today. I pulled my 320 out to service the starboard outdrive. Changed the gimbal bearing, all bellows, water intake hose. Non eventful other than the typical pain in the but working on twin 496 motors. Buttoned it up this morning, put on the muffs, hit the starter switch, the audable alarm rang for a few seconds as normal and then she fired right up. Warmed it up, checked for normal water temps, no funny sounds, all seemed right. Cleaned up the bildge, washed the boat and backed it in the water. Tryed to start the port motor and she barely turned over. I pushed the emergency button to get her going and she fired up. Went to do the same with the starboard motor, pushed the start button, no audible alarm. Would not start. Pushed the emergency start button and then the start button, the audible alarm sounded and the starboard motor fired up fine. As soon as i release the emergency start button, she dies. I am stumped. Note that while sitting on the trailer yesterday and today, it was not plugged into shorepower. Both refridges were on, wife watching t.v. First thought is battery's for starboard engines are quite dead. The boat is now plugged into shore power in hopes the batteries are just to tired. Also note the are 2013 batteries. At this point, I am guessing. Strange that the audible alarm will not sound. I also checked all the electrical connectors on the top of the motor just in case knocked something loose but nothing aparent.

Update to this, chargers on all night. Same results.
I have checked every electrical connection i can see on the motor. Unplugged, looked for obvious loose wires. Nothing.
Any one know a mercruiser dealer in the area that can troubleshoot vessel view?
Thanks.

Update on this, installed new batteries. No change. My son took a look as he is closer to the marina than I am. He googled the problem, found a fuse block with four fuses located on the topside of the engine. One was blown. He replaced it and that took care of the problem. I will check the wiring diagram and make a list of fuses, sizes, uses and locations for future reference. That boy saved me some money as I was ready the bring the boat to the dealer.
Hope this helps some one in the future.

Sounds like you found the what. Now it's time to find the why, before it happens again or the reason "why" causes other problems

Rodger that! This problem first surfaced the first time I used the Emergency start button. I need to access the schematics to determine first of all what the recomended fuse should be.
Something tells me the 15 amp is to small but need to verify that before going further.
