This may sound dumb but how do I turn on my bow & swim platform speakers or ensure they are working? I recently purchased a 2010 Sea Ray 350 Sundancer and for the life of me cannot get these 4 speakers to play. The speakers in the cabin and in the cockpit all are working well. I've found both of my amplifiers and they appear to be receiving power as they are lit up but I couldn't find any on/off switch on them. I know I must be missing something...

On my boat the bow speakers are little cans on the two grab rails around the bow cushion. They are not connected to the stereo but have an MP3 harness in the starboard three shelf cabinet across from the sink. The speakers run off an Ipod or similar device.
For the transom speakers check the fade control on the HU unit. The PO may have turned them off.

There are 4 cockpit speakers and 2 swim platform speakers.
To turn the swim platform and rear most cockpit speakers on there is a button on the left
side of the dash, above the navigation lighting with an audio type mark...press it and the blue button lights. This will turn off your rear sets of speakers. When you press the button again, the speakers
will turn back on...takes about 15 seconds or so before they turn on.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help Skidrow. The button above the Nav lights shuts off the rear 2 speakers in the cockpit but even when they’re on the transom speakers are still off. I found the battery wire into the amplifier was loose but even after fixing that no change for either transom speaker.

Does anyone know where the wire from this switch goes... Does it go into the compartment that houses the amps.. Is it wired like an amp turn on lead that turns off the amps. Colour?
I would like to use this switch for something else.. since I have run all new speaker wires from new amps

You may want to check the speakers on the transom. They typically degrade after 5 years. The cardboard just disintegrates and your only left with the tweeter cone.
They may just be shot altogether.
