I had my boat out for a first couple nights out on a long weekend, when I came home today in the cabin on the lowest part of the floor just outside the door for the bathroom (fridge opposite side) was completely saturated. While I was out for a few days, I used the a/c extensively, showered, washed dishes etc (my first long trip with the boat). I am at a loss for how it got wet, I am assuming maybe one of the drains from one of the sinks or something backed up and seeped up from somewhere, but I really don't know, its as if the water came from underneath the carpet. Another guess, I had is it is some sort of condensation leak from the refrigerator, however the carpet on the floor is wet with no sign of wet carpet on the riser up to and the level of carpet immediately next to the fridge. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Ok, so you think maybe a scenario where I had water draining in the sink, while also draining water in the bathroom and ultimately the pump couldn't pump it out of the boat fast enough?

I would look by the sump pump for wetness. If so maybe the float stuck or the pump failed. On my 2003 260da it was under the stairs. Not sure where yours is but it's a good starting point.

Also IIRC my sink in the galley and head both flowed overboard not through the sump like my 340SDA does.

Look under the trash can on the steps.
There's a sump below that, take the cover off of it and clean out the one way valve on the out part.
Mine would stick, and a simple cleaning it made it work just fine.

I had an 06, and it had a trash can under one of the steps. The sump basin was under that trash can.
I didn't have ac, but we showered once and the one way duck bill type of valve had stuck closed, and wouldn't let water out, once I cleaned it up, it worked just fine.
It made our carpet wet where you're talking about.

BTW, the basin has a few screws holding a clear plastic cover on.
You'll need to remove those, it's super easyeasy.

identified the problem, the sump is under an access panel on the bottom step going into the cabin. The positive fitting from the rule brand sump pump sheared off inside the discharge line for the shower and a/c condensate both of which fell off. Can't thank the poster here enough as this was subsequently easy to identify. Does anyone know if rule would sell a new bracket that has the fitting mounts? as yo can see I have nothing to attached the large black house with is the shower discharge to because the fitting sheered off entirely inside.

Thanks, that was something I was going to add to my last post, is it a fools errand to spend a bunch of time with the fittings only to have the pump in the box go out in the next few months. You have reassured me that full replacement makes the most sense, thanks.

You are into a whole new shower sump box. Those fittings-are molded plastic and not replaceable if that’s what you mean. It’s a stupid design. Rule won’t sell you an empty box either. You are into a complete box with a new pump and float switch.
Mine was cracked slightly at the shower drain fitting and I was able to seal it with contact cement.
I think what happens is water collects there and possibly freezes over the winter causing it to crack.

Glad to hear you found the problem, even if it wasn't what I was thinking it would be.
There is a post somewhere here about replacing the shower sump with something different, problem free.
Sorry I don't have more info on the exact content, bit maybe you can find it, or someone can link to it.
Something like" shower sump replacement."

Oh and if you get the same sump and the pump and float are the same and the old ones still work cut the wires as long as possible and keep them for spares should you need them.
