I have Lumitec in my hole boat.... 2 in the arch and 3 near the floor.... and wish i still had the warm white option... I also have the 4 colors.... wish they made them with warm white.... I found a dimmer that works with them, gonna try it this year...

Which brand and model dimmer switch did you find that works with them. I’ve got a friend who is looking for one now.

I found if you use a Intervolt SLD2040DC dimmer and you wire in a 300 ohm resistor. I can now dim them as low as they go without the light flickering ... But you have to wire in a 300 ohm resistor on the output of the dimmer, or the lights will Flicker.

Easy peasy installation. Just use good (marine) electrical connectors. Be careful and DO NOT let wires fall back into the hole! If I remember, there may be a polarity issue. If the light doesn't work, just swap the wires around.

These are the Lumitec 4 color lights... And the Lumitec spectrum underwater lights.... They all do different colors...

for less than $80 you can put LED light strips in light up the entire boat, and get ANY color you want..

for a few extra dollars you can do this..

its not a kit.. you do it yourself.. IP65 LED strips.. and what ever controller you like.. wire it up using 16/4 power cable..

if you want a step by step procedure i can do that..

the video is listed above is with addressable LEDs...$35 each strip ( 4 used )

my old set up..below is with a standard LED strips $12 a strip ( 4 used )

Ok, for the spoiler (roof) lights, the rocker switch on my helm is a two position switch: Go to the first stop, one pair lights up, go further to the second stop, the second pair lights up. I don't remember which is first; the forward or aft pair. But, the first set that comes on, you can cycle the switch on and off to get the desired color. You can also make all four lights have the same color by going through both "on" positions quickly, then back to "off", etc. I hope this answers you question. It is a simple 30 second demonstration, but I'm finding it difficult to explain it in words!

One night I was playing with the switch, and found out that I could set different colors between the first and second pair. Fun to do, but kind of impractical.
