I think there is an auto shut-off valve on the line just as it leave the tank. There is a manual override. Hope this helps, peter

My 2006 DA has access to the sender from the mid berth cabin; ope cap under matress.

I recently installed a gamin 7" 720 on a custom made mount on top of dash; hand crafted marine ply layers to fit the dash contour and had a flat mount on top; then had the finished mount epoxy painted the same colour as the dash; worked a treat. Peter
