    Step down bilge pump hose

Absolutely silly question. The step-down pump in the cabin of my 1985 da 260. My hose is the typical plastic bilge hose and it has a split in it. If anybody has replaced this hose before. Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to pull the hose either way out of the tunnel from the bilge...

    1982 360 SRV Charger Question

The black wire coming from the shore plug outlet should run over to the main breaker from there it goes back to the charger. You also stated fuse and a fyi to not to confuse anyone fuses are 12 volt Breakers are 110. And out of curiosity if your chargers in good working order why change it? I...

    Hack repair question.

I will know more tonight when I dig into it. With tdschafer info (thank you) I do remember seeing a silver box mounted right above the steering column but below the helm bulkhead that could have been a converter. I do remember when I was plugged into shore power the refrigerator running but...

    Hack repair question.

Thanks for everyone's input I really appreciate it. While I'd like to think I'm pretty mechanically inclined this whole boat thing is new to me (if you guys ever need questions answered on your Harley I'm your man! LOL) Back in August the second time we went to take the boat out one of the...

    Hack repair question.

I purchased my 1985 260 Sundancer mid August. While overall it is a very solid boat there was a couple of things that I I could tell were done in a hurry and not the right way. One of those items was a mystery wire that was somewhat tucked up but in places you could see running from port to the...

    ProMariner on board battery chargers

Out of curiosity why do you not want an outlet? I kind of liked the idea as long as it's safely mounted and hardwired it in two the circuit panel. A lot of newer boats are coming with deck outlets, I'm just curious as to why you're removing yours?

    ProMariner on board battery chargers

I have no problems hardwiring if that's the best way to do it, I kind of wish they had the option of getting it without the 110 molded cord already on it

    ProMariner on board battery chargers

I checked up underneath there pretty thoroughly somebody must have added yours there is no 110 outlets on my 260. Although I think I am going to install them and do it the way yours is done.

    ProMariner on board battery chargers

I have decided I'm getting a ProMariner ProSport 20 onboard battery charger for my 1985 260DA. At first I thought about mounting the charger itself somewhere in the engine compartment, near the batteries. Although this proposed a problem with the lack of 110 outlet in the engine compartment and...

80's DA seating (260 Sundancer in particular)

Recently purchased my first boat a 1985 Sundancer 260. My first question is how's come you don't hear too much about the 80s 260? It seems all you hear about are the 250 or 268. I have been able to find lots of complaints about the older Sundancer seating but very few Solutions I agree with the...
