Jordan lake is crowded in some areas, but there are enough decent sized branchs to be able to go tubing or just relaxing in. We were there last weekend and the water levels looked pretty good.
I love my I phone. i am using a generic free GPS app from apple and it works great. I just enter a launching ramp as a waypoint and go. The only app I paid for is the boat ramp finder for .99.
As for dropped calls. DW and i had Sprint for almost 7 years and never had as many dropped calls as...
Don't worry Cliff, I think we have the smallest boat in the group. I doesn't discourge us. We went to the Greensboro boat show a few weeks ago. We didn't see anything tempting.
We attempted the trip last summer but it wa after a decent rain there was just to much debris in the water. The river was about 15ft deep around Fayetteville, however, we only went about 10mi south before we turned around do to floating "stuff" hitting the boat.
We've launched in Southport a...
Good topic, We are also planning on checking out this area. We drove thru it in a car last summer and loved the town. There are alot of docks and mooring bouys right in town. We are also going to be checking out hotels and BBs. Last summer we launched from Southport or Carolina beach a few...
Hello from Fayetteville NC. Lakes Norman and Wylie are on our lit of lakes to explore this spring also. Along with New Bern, Savannah, and Lake Kerr in NC. It is a long list so I hope the weather breaks soon.
We've been on 3 cruises. So here is our break down.
First cruise. Disney Wonder, We had a balocny, most of the kids are confined to a baby sitting deck or the pool deck. The staff were exelent and the entertainment was first rate. Great cruise. We would go on another even without kids...
OK, it looks like I forgot to post my pictures (thanks for the reminder Chuck).
Here is our first day with Chuck @ lake Jocassee. The water was so clear you could see 20ft down. At 315ft, it is the deepest lake we've been in. Thanks Kes, Chuck and family for the tour of the water falls...
WoWsErS,
What a great day of boating, sight seeing, and friends. The raft up was awsome, the cliff jumping was awsome and the company was awsome. Jane, the cake was great, again. Paul, let me know where you got the antenna.
We wanted to thank everyone for the hospitality. We had a...
We had a great time with Chuck and family on Lake Jocassee. The only hick-up was a long line at the ramps. Saw a few waterfalls. We've never had the boat in 300+ft of water. The views were incredible and the company fantastic. We can't wait until tomarrow to meet the est of the Sea Ray Keowee...
Right now we are still going to Jocassee on Saturday and Keowee Sunday. I just need to find some maps of the areas with lunching ramps on it. We are also planning on doing some sightseeing this weekend.
First off, congrads on the new boat. With only 15hrs on it, your boat is basically new and will have alot of new boat issues. Spilling gas on the outside of your boat will not cause it to spill on the inside, now a leak in your fill hose will. I lift the sunpad while filling up so I can see how...
I'd say follow state routes. Then follow any signs heading toward a campground. Belive me, a high profile 5th wheel will have cleared a nice path for you.
