I have a set of heads for a Chevy 350 off a 260 merc. Heads are cleaned, tested. and in great shape. they're collecting dust in my garage. I have a new engine and these came off an old engine. Engine was trash but aparently somone had put new heads on it. Anyone interested?
What Sea Ray show is the water pump is located in the engine space and the water is piped to the condenser under the cabin dinette seat. That's the hole I have to drill and it scares me to take a drill to anything in my boat
Thanks for the suggestion. I found at a marine salvage shop sheets of teac material that's exactly like the roll up cabinet doors in my 268. I cut it to size for the roll up door and have sections left over that fits the trim on the cabinets. That's where i need the adhesize. The factory trin...
:smt100I found teac tambor door material. My 87 268 had all the cabinet doors damaged by water. I've gotten the old paper material off the doors. Could somebody suggest a marine adhesive that will glue the teac back to the doors with out destroying the teac?:smt021
:huh:I have found Teac to replace the trim on the doors and cabinets on my 87 268. What would anybody recommed for an adhesive to glue the new teac strips to the doors?:smt100
My 87 doesn't have a holding tank. It has a porti-poti. It has a macerator pump installed under the sink but it's not connected to any electrical power. Does anyone know how to connect the pump? Where should the switch be? I read a thread that a lockable switch was installed someplace? Where...
I started and tried it like sea ray says. I drilled a hole in the support for the shelf on the rear port side of the engine compartment. It's hollow on mine all the way forward. I had to drill a hole in the floor of the cabinet under the rear seat of the dining table. So far so good haven't got...
I'm trying to figure out by these plans how to get the water supply line to the condensing unit. I looked at mine and saw what your talking about. Mine has the water tank mounted port side forward on the ledge along side the fuel tank. The power and discharge hose for the forward bilge pump run...
What I'm talking about is how to get the lines from the pump in the stern to the condensing unit. Is your thru hull, pump and condensing unit all together? in the cabinet under the dinette seat?
I have an 87 268. The spot/flood light mounted on the bow of mine is made by Jabsco. I've found parts to repair it on Ebay. I found the control panel NOS in the box
I'm going to put an A/C system on my 87 268da. Sea Ray plans show drillin a couple holes in the stringer in the aft of the eng. compartment. I think I saw a work in progress picture and tha area outside the stringer was filled with foam. Is that normally how they were built? :smt100
I bought my 268 off Ebay. I have the signed title from the seller. Florida is giving me fits because it was from florida, taken to Georgia, then back to Florida. They want it registered in every state. This is turning into a nighmare.:smt021
