Is the 5.7 you are talking about closed loop cooling?? The battery should be at leat 750 CC amps and if this is your only battery make sure it is deep cycle.

quick question for all you 290 folks.. my big hang up with this boat is the lack of a seat for the captain to streatch out on on a trip. Can two mpeople fit at the helm ?? My dealer is trying to put me into a 2007 trade but I don't know. On the other hand we really like the area below decks on...

IMO you may get dinged at trade in time with no stove. Are you geting the gen ?? If so then I would get the stove. Just saying ....

Looking at a 1998 330DA with 376 Hours on it. The boat has 7.4 310 HP inboards. Waiting for some more info from the selling dealer. Can any or all of you shead some light on things I may need to look for? The boat has been kept in a covered slip and looks very nice. Kinda of "freaked out buying...
